Fanboys can talk all the trash they want, but the nearly 50 million people who all bought the DS in just a couple years and the millions that continue to EVERY month aren’t all wrong. DS Looks GREAT for 08′, It is hands down the best hand held platform that has ever existed.

Yes, someone else who has enough sense to know that no video game company would ever make games unless they knew they could get money off of it. As for what they’re doing with the new Final Fantasy game, I don’t really care. I think that in console markets, they’ve sort of moved away from most of the actual RPG roots of their company with that series. If you’d like an idea of what I mean by that, the last game I purchased from Square was the re-release of Final Fantasy VI.

Now that Codemasters have won the FIA Formula 1 Rights across all platforms, I’d guess that this would be priority over Race Driver? The Wii is sadly lacking any decent realistic driving games and based on codemasters excellent driving/racing games if either Race Driver or F1 come to the platform it will be very good news!

Hey now, some of us enjoy that kind of stuff… It’s kinda like the good old days of playing football out front with your friends… except people don’t do that no more, they are scared of getting shot or run over, so this is a great replacement. I laughed my @$$ off when my nephew had to take a seat panting after a few rounds in boxing… and after you have done it a while it stops being so tiring… imagine that, exercising making you more physically fit and able to exercise more? Could this be a good thing? Naw… fat lazy people always complain about sweating anyway, at least this way they can have fun doing it!

I don’t know how many of you have been to Square’s website recently, but you should probably take a look. There is almost NO MENTION AT ALL of either Final Fantasy XIII titles. They have clips and previews of every other game, including DQ, but nothing on FF except the PSP stuff and TONS of DS games they are releasing. They even announced publicly that they prefer programming for the DS than the current consoles. DS is getting all of Square’s love lately so get used to it and go with it or get over it and find another developer that likes your console because that’s where the ball is rolling. Do some research (and by that I don’t mean PSN)… seriously, look around. Sony’s ties with Square are all but over… and rightfully so, they have gone back to Nintendo, the company that put them on the map in the first place…

Also im not saying that there is a game on the wii that can match GTA’s sales but it is multi platform, which ALOT of people seem to over look espcially when they compare it to halo 3. They do not seem to realise that halo 3 was only on the 360 GTA is on the ps3 and 360.

plenty of games are easy to pick up and play but that does not make them casual games. Take the metal slug franchise for example but that is not aimed at the casual audiance. Trust me people play super smash bros cronicaly. Something that is usually a miss in casual games. I still find your perception of brawl being a casual game a bit well weird.

Also in order to understand the mammoth heap of unlockable stuff in brawl you need to have been a hardcore gamer with knowledge of Nintendo’s history. Another example of this game being aimed at the hardcore crowd.
