Guitar Hero III dated for EU
The news European rockers have been waiting for comes today after Activision have finally sent word on when the European market can expect the next Guitar ‘em up. It’s November, but when exactly?
The 23rd November is the exact, promised date, and the game will be shipping across all platforms. The US will be getting it on the 28th October, it was just the European date left in limbo. The wireless guitars will of course be bundled along with the game, allowing for inter-changeable faceplates, designed to look like a Gibson Les Paul guitar.
For those not keeping up with the game, GH III will include staggering selection of global smash hit master tracks from the likes of Sex Pistols, Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, Killers, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden and Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more. The game will also feature original compositions from legendary guitarists Slash and Tom Morello, both of whom are featured as boss characters in the game. There’s also an all-new multiplayer mode, allowing for duels with a very different take to them, as well as the usual co-op and face-off modes.
Zach Fountain, General Manager, RedOctane Europe was very excited:
“This is the biggest Guitar Hero release yet. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is the first time the franchise has released simultaneously across multiple formats, so we’re delighted to be able to confirm a single street date for all home consoles. The game introduces a host of innovations on each format – no matter what your console of choice, November 23rd will be the day your world gets well and truly rocked.”
Now, who’s super-excited about this in Europe?
