After hearing nothing about Left Field Productions’ Nitrobike for over two months, the developer gives us reassurance that a title some describe as a two-wheeled Excite Truck is still alive and well in the form of six brand new screenshots, showing off some explosive single and multiplayer racing.

In development by Left Field Productions (the brains behind the brilliant Excitebike 64 for the Nintendo 64), players will take control of rocket-propelled motorbikes in what promises to be an arcade-style title for two-wheeled thrill seekers. Players can choose to race against the clock, against other players on the same console or - excitingly - in Nitrobike’s 6-player online mode. A career mode complete with 9 championships is also included.
