Nintendo adds a little controversy with Jam Sessions commercials
It’s not very often that the finger of controversy gets pointed at titles ono Japanese gaming giant Nintendo’s systems, especially in terms of advertising. Indeed, over the past few years, that particular shadowy area of contention has been more the domain of Sony Corp., and, to a lesser degree, Microsoft Corp. However, that being said, a pair of new commercials for Ubisoft’s Jam Sessions on the Nintendo DS are causing a bit of a stir online at the moment. Jump to check ‘em out.
Before you click on the following Internet clips showcasing the New Zealand-based commercials in all their wanton glory, be warned that they’re not suitable for work (NSFW).
Yes, seriously, TV adds for supposedly ‘family-friendly’ Nintendo software that are peppered with a mixture of ear-shattering profanity and a smattering of incestuous breast fondling… delivered with gusto by otherwise butter-wouldn’t-melt children.
Also, these clips are fast-disappearing from the Net, with the likes of YouTube going through the motions of removing them almost as quickly as they’re posted, so make haste if you really want your ocular and audio sockets suitably burned.
Thankfully the folks over at GameTrailers.com have yet to get around to said purge. Enjoy.
Incidentally, almost like an afterthought following a spell of wide-eyed shock, Ubisoft’s Jam Sessions is available now for the Nintendo DS and looks something like this:

Jam Sessions is published by Ubisoft, not Nintendo.
Though if I completely read and paid attention to your article before commenting, I would have seen that you know this already. Still, you make this out as if it has anything to do with Nintendo’s marketing style.
