SEGA Master System, Game Gear confirmed for Virtual Console
Around a month ago in December 2007, Nintendo updated the Virtual Console section of its official website to include two unfilled spaces next to the current crop of formats already available on the surface. Today we learn (as rumoured) that one of those gaps is soon to be filled by the SEGA Master System.
SEGA has confirmed that the 8-BIT predecessor to the SEGA Mega Drive will makes its debut on the Virtual Console service as early as next month in Japan. Two titles are already planned: Hokuto no Ken (600 Wii Points) and Fantasy Zone (500 Wii Points).
Wiiz also reports that Game Gear games will also make an appearance (could that be behind the slight difference in price between the titles above?)
