NES and SNES controllers for Wii
If the idea of using a NES or SNES controller for your Wii makes you cringe, stop reading now. For those still here, Retrozone are planning to release two adapters that allow you to use you NES and SNES controllers instead of a GameCube controller, so all those NES and SNES games from the Virtual Console will be re-lived just the way they should be.
Though not many people have either of these controllers anymore, for those with these old controllers like myself (I actually have 3 NES controllers and 5 SNES controllers), this is brilliant. The adapter simply plugs into the slot where you would normally plug a GameCube controller in, with the other end having the port to connect the controller to, and you’re ready to rock!
It should be noted that these won’t work on your PC with emulated games, however they do sell USB ones as well, so that would mean that your PC can also be turned into retro heaven.
Whilst I do hate retro games, there is nothing like going back and playing Mario. King of Retro, no other games for me come close. All Nintendo’s back catalog is excellent, and I look forward to playing these with my (admittedly dusty) NES and SNES controllers, the way they should be played.
The NES retro port is scheduled for release in January, whilst the SNES port is “Q1 2007″.

Hehe….you like sayin “whilst”
I said it twice?
