Hogs of War 2 squeals onto Nintendo Wii and DS
In its most recent set of financial reports, French publisher Infogrames has confirmed that a sequel to its Worms-inspired Hogs of War (first released for the original PlayStation and PC in 2000) is to make its way to both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.
The original Hogs of War was a turn-based strategy title in which WWI-era anthropomorphic pigs battled it out against one another in what many at the time dubbed an attempt at Team17’s Worms in 3D. The game included a career-orientated single player mode, a number of army vehicles and voicing work by British comedian, Rik Mayall.
There’s not a jot of information about Hogs of War 2 just yet, but we’ll bring you the latest as soon as we get it.
