Okami Wii - first full screenshots, supports 16:9, 480p
With Okami Wii’s release date little over a month away, Capcom has released the first full-sized images of the much-anticipated support. In addition, the firm recently confirmed that the Wii version will support 16:9 and 480p for those who love a bit of widescreen goodness.
Capcom recently confirmed that Okami will boast widescreen and progressive scan support on the Nintendo Wii. Unlike the PlayStation 2 version, the port will include 16:9 and 480p.
In Okami, players assume the role of the wolf-embodied sun god Amaterasu to set the world straight after the legendary monster Orochi has come back to life and turned it into a wasteland. The action-adventure title was originally released for the Sony PlayStation 2 last year to great a great critical reception, so perhaps the firm’s decision to bring it to Wii will be more fruitful.
Okami Wii will be released on March 25 and March 28 in North America and Europe respectively.
