Listen tool, I know quite well what I'm talking about, and you also knew what I was saying regardless of spelling. So I like to hit the blogs after a 10 hour nightshift, and endulge in some after work refreshmints, so screw my spelling....

I'm not sure what hick town you live in, but here in city jacking wireless signals from your own living room is a reality.

I think your the one who needs to go back to high school, with your childish attack, and country boy knowledge.

(FYI: My Wii can see 4 routers from the bedroom, and the 360 in the living room and see 8 routers, I've had the laptop see 12 routers from the balcony)

(FYI: Optional? Yeah you don't thinks kids know how to use options? Or visit the Shopping Channel?)
Whats your problem anyways? I do know how useful it is to email from the couch?? Umm yeah I do it all the time.

The whole point was why was the OPERA browser pulled at the last second with no explaination, and bad "PR" based on what someone MIGHT do with it is the reason. After christmas Nintendo's not gonna care, but pre-christmas it's not something you want Parents thinking about when making the choice to buy little Jonny one..

Oh yeah, why don't you come by sometime and I can drive you to your babysitters sometime.

ZahaDoom, you're embarrassing Canada with that god-awful spelling! Ouch! I doubt you are the one doing the ACTUAL driving, tell the truth now -- it's your geeky uncle who's doing the snooping. The browser is an OPTIONAL download. You're saying kids are going to use the TV to access the Internet without thier parents knowing? How big of a range do you think the Wii and Wifi routers have? Most people are going to plunk this thing in the living room anyways.

Besides, how would having a browser be bad PR? Do you know how USEFUL it is to be able to email from the couch?

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Get off the Internet and go to that high school English class where you belong.

I can't wait for this thing to come out so that the rumors stop. Yikes!

Sweet! What I was saying all along, Nintendo was afraid of releasing the Browser pre-christmas, due to bad PR/Publicity of kid's surfing websites unknown to their parents!

But by Christmas eve, no PR will ever reach anyone by then. The Wii is already bought and wrapped by then.

Smart move by Nintendo really , you will be able to block the Browser out completely with Parental Controls, but alot of kids with no Internet access are gonna find free access in there Neibourhood and get access to the web for free for the first time... And it will be a suprize to Parents.
Here in Canada, No matter where I've visited, If I drive around with my laptop while traveling I can always find free access. In almost every neibhourhood there are tones of routers up... I've seen upwards of 10 routers at once from my building alone, alot locked but not all of them.

The Wii Browser was dealbreaker for me.. Can't wait for it!! Sweet Christmas!
