Luc Bernard reveals new Nintendo Wii project & more

Luc Bernard shot into this news in recent months thanks to the revelation that his Xbox L!ve Arcade project ‘Angel’s Eternity’ was to be revamped for Nintendo’s WiiWare and the Nintendo DS under the new title of ‘Eternity’s Child’. Since then, the talented developer has revealed not only another DS game called ‘Imagination is the Only Escape’, but lifted the lid on a before unseen Wii project.

Over on Luc Bernard’s personal MySpace web page, he has released fresh screenshots of Imagination is the Only Escape on Nintendo DS, Eternity’s Child for WiiWare, as well as this new project, simply called ‘Manufactured Beauty’, which is apparently being primed for Halloween of this year. Check out all the new screenshots below:

“Luc Bernard, is hard at work on a new and what is sure to be a very controversial game for the Nintendo DS. Imagination is The Only Escape is the story of a young Jewish boy living in France during the occupation by the Nazis in World War II. In order to escape the horrors around him, he imagines a fantasy land that becomes the basis of the game’s world. The adventure platformer will attempt to educate players on the atrocities experienced by many children during the time of the Holocaust.”

Eternity’s Child, WiiWare, Q2 2008, 500 Wii Points

“The story of Eternitys Child and the orphan ‘Angel’ - the planet on which Eternity’s Child is set on. The planet was once filled with many living creatures and vast forests, however due to the pollution created by the habitants the icebergs melted and the whole planet was flooded and most of the creatures became extinct. The creatures without wings that were left became jealous of the ones with wings (that allowed them to survive the flooding), so the land creatures started murdering all the winged creatures until there was none left. To repopulate the world, many mechanical robots were created so that the world would not seem as empty as before, but most of those creatures got out of control and started attacking and destroying what was left.”
