Anti-gravity racer Zero-G accelerates onto DS

In a title that looks to have taken more than just a little inspiration from Psygnosis’ WipEout, Midas Interactive has announced Zero-G, a futuristic, high-speed racer for the Nintendo DS.

The game puts players into the driving seat of some of the galaxy’s quickest anti-gravity crafts as they race against fearless rivals from across the stratosphere in a total of seven gut wrenching tournaments. Midas explains that players will need lightning fast reflexes as they travel at breakneck speeds around 21 different tracks, each chock full of obstacles, mines, tunnels and G-force drops.

Zero-G also includes local wireless options and the ability to hook up to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in order to compete against other players from around the world.

Let’s hope it plays as well as it sounds when it is released on April 18.
