Game Factory has announced today that a second videogame, based on the French CGI animated series, will arrive on the Nintendo DS in June this year. Amongst other improvements over the first title, Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A is set to feature a brand new storyline and multiplayer modes.

Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A is based on the fourth series of the teen-orientated show, begins with William being held captive somewhere on Lyoko by the evil X.A.N.A. Playing as some of the programme’s central characters, gamers’ final challenge is to infiltrate the mysterious and dangerous Volcano Replika, a place that contains the very core of X.A.N.A, to rescue poor William.

Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A features include:

• Fight your way through the Digital Sea and battle more enemies using subterranean vehicles ( Navskids)

• Play with the four Lyoko warriors and experience a Unique Real Time turn base Interactive battle system
• Defeat X.A.N.A’s minions in 100 different Battle Arenas
• Enjoy Newly-designed heroes in Super-Deformed style

The original Code Lyoko title on the Nintendo DS received middling reviews on the whole, so hopefully X.A.N.A will offer something of an improvement.
