Final Fantasy CC WiiWare DLC pricing confirmed
After the launch of WiiWare in Japan last month and the revelation that Square Enix would be providing downloadable content for their first title on the service, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King, today the firm has revealed just how much gamers will have to cough up to purchase new buildings, clothes and races in the so-called “country building” adventure.
Starting from today, Japanese WiiWare players will be able to purchase new additions for My Life As A King, ranging from between 100 and 800 Wii Points.
First on the shopping list is a tribal house pack consisting of homes for each of the three additional races, which will cost 800 Wii Points as a bundle or 300 Points for each individual dwelling: the Lilitie’s House allows recruitment for stout Lilitie warriors; the Selkie’s House allows recruitment of stealthy Selkie thieves, and Yuke’s House allows recruitment of mystic Yuke mages (either black or white).
Other new addtions require players to cough up less Wii Points. New outfits for the King and Chancellor Chime are priced at 100 Wii Points, as is the Extravagant House, a place where many citizens will be able to congregated. Slightly pricier is the Sacred Shrine, a building where players can visit to receive a temporary boost in their all round wellbeing. That’s not it, however, as Square Enix also reveals that it plans to add both a new dungeon named the Infinite Tower, as well as a library, to the world of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King.
All of the above adds up to a grand total of $28 USD. Of course, these are Japanese prices and may change for the game’s launch in North America and beyond. Value for money? Let us know in the comments section below.
