If Microsoft does release a Wii-style remote, expect it to become a niche perhiperal like the EyeToy or Xbox Vision camera. Not many games will support it and it will be seen as a blatent rep-off of the Wii Remote.

If developers can utilize it in enough games, then perhaps Microsoft has a chance with this.</description>

		<description>I'm surprised by the amount of people who are critising Microsoft for this.  Was it really surprising that they're going to try and capitalise on the Wii's success?  Sony already did it, and I rarley see people complaining about that.

And the biggest factor to consider here is that Microsoft already had this technology, way before the Wii or even the Gamecube.  Microsoft did infact INVENT this motion technology.
