Lonpos WiiWare DLC detailed, priced - 4500 Wii Points

Nintendo’s new WiiWare service has received its second helping of extra downloadable content in Japan today, with Genki now offering players the chance to get their hands on new boards and visual themes. Like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King, though, it isn’t gonna come cheap.

A total of nine puzzles packs are available to those who own Japanese Wiis, expansions that add 25 puzzles and a variety of new pleasurable visual themes. Here’s the painful bit: each pack costs 500 Wii Points, so for those wanting experience everything Lonpos has to offer, you’ll have to shell out a total of 5,500 Wii Points (which includes the 1000 Wii Points fee to download the game in the first place).

For those importers out there, you’ll have to download an update via the Wii Shop Channel first of all, then the new content should be available for you.

$55 USD for Lonpos, two dozen puzzles and nine background themes? We can feel our wallets squirming in terror already.

WiiWare launches in North America on May 12, with a PAL launch also rumoured before said month is out.
