It’s been out in North America since the end of February and was already confirmed for Europe, but now Signature Devices has announced that its updated version of the Game Boy Advance role-playing game, Mazes of Fate, will arrive in the continent in the second quarter of 2008.

Mazes of Fate for DS allows players to chose one of six powerful characters or create their own unique character to navigate different towns and locations. Here’s the vital statistics: the new version includes five new chapters, 50 different levels, 20 customisable character skills, 45 magic spells and 50 types of enemy. In Mazes of Fate for DS, players search for keys and pick up dropped potions, armour and gold along the way. The ultimate goal is to conquer the evil Netherlings and the “Rebellion,” who stole the Redemption Stone and stopped the prophet Harlac’s heroic efforts to save the land of Akhiel.

“This is one of the most challenging and versatile first-person RPGs on the market. It involves action, intrigue, decision making and humor, and it pushes the limits of Nintendo DS.
