The brand new issue of popular Japanese publication CoroCoro Comics is set to be released in Japan tomorrow and will, according to Pokémon fan site Serebii.net, hint towards a new Pokémon title coming later in 2008.

CoroCoro magazine is renowned for getting all the latest Pokémon related breaking news, with it originally unveiling the new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games on Nintendo DS as well. Now, when the new issue hits Japan tomorrow, it will, according to reports from Serebii.net, contain hints towards a new Pokémon game for the Nintendo DS that is set to come out sometime later this year. The website states that the publication has a time-line showing all of the handheled Pokémon games along with their Japanese successors, Blue (or ‘Yellow’ as it would be called in the West, since the Japanese got Green and Red at launch), Crystal and Emerald. Following this there is a space remaining for a new game in 2008. This has obviously led many to speculate that the traditional ‘third’ game that arrives not too long after the original duo of Pokémon handheld games are released will indeed be on its way.
