Konami details three new WiiWare titles

Animal Panic (as it is known in Japan) was first unveiled in March of this year, as the first of a number of titles that Konami is planning to bring to Nintendo’s new download service, WiiWare. Today the firm confirmed its plans to bring it to North America, under the name of Critter Round-Up, as well as detailing two new games: Crescendo and Fresco Beach.

Developed by Epicenter Studios, Critter Round-Up sees players challenged with building fences to separate different species’ of animals into their own areas, whilst avoiding predators and other damaging obstacles.

Up to four players can corral critters from five environments and 50 levels, with gameplay modes including a co-op Adventure, as well as co-operative play for all players. Marathon Mode, meanwhile, offers a near-infinite number of levels, as well as a collection of mini-games such as Snowball Soccer and Predator Rampage.

In related WiiWare news, Konami reveals that it plans to bring Crescendo (working title), a “musical experience fused with quick, frantic action of classic arcade action”, and Fresco Beach (working title), a “game where players create their own sandcastles and maintain their structure amidst the dangers of the beach.”
