Namco’s Family Trainer dated for Europe
Long before the invention of Wii Fit, players have been encouraged to get up and moving whilst playing games with the help of dance and exercise mats. Namco Bandai’s Family Trainer does just that with Family Trainer on the Nintendo Wii, which Atari has confirmed for release in Europe this September.
Family Trainer includes the specially designed Family Trainer mat controller which, when combined with the Wii Remote, lets players get totally physical in a series of challenges. Unlike other games for the Wii which only focus on the arms, Family Trainer gets the feet involved too for total body gameplay.
Family Trainer includes over a dozen single and multiplayer games based on outdoor pursuits, including river rafting, mine karting, log jumping, rope skipping and many more. Marketed as a product for all the family, players can save their high scores to compare them against those of their friends and relatives.
Family Trainer will be released as Active Life: Athletic World in North America on May 29.
