For all those pining for another Castlevania adventure on the Nintendo DS, comes big news from Japan via Famitsu magazine today - Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (previously rumoured via leaked screenshots) has been confirmed, along with a hint towards a Nintendo Wii title based on the franchise.

If you look closely at the above Famitsu magazine scans, you’ll notice that they match up with the following, previously leaked screenshots:

…meaning that the rumours about Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia were all true. Even more exciting, is the possibility of a Nintendo Wii version of the series, hinted at by the game menu in the third screenshots. Look very closely and you’ll notice the ‘Wii’ lettering above the ‘Game Start’ message. Hopes for a link-up between portable and home console, anyone?
