Having previously confirmed that both Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid DS would arrive in Europe this summer, Square Enix has announced that both will arrive on July 04.

Space Invaders Extreme

Space Invaders Extreme is another update to the classic videogaming franchise, this time with new graphics, sound and power-ups. What’s more, you’ll be able to connect with friends and enemies over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Arkanoid DS

ARKANOID DS features

Arkanoid DS is another retro videogaming franchise given a modern day makover, and includes 140 new levels, as well as a Quest mode. The better you do, the more backgrounds, sound effects and different paddles you can unlock.

• Over 140 levels to complete in Clear Mode, Quest mode adds extra challenge with different rules for each level
• Customize your game by exchanging points earned for new design features such as new backgrounds, Vaus vessels, blocks and sound effects

Meanwhile, both Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid DS are currently scheduled to launch in North America on June 10 and June 17 respectively.
