Beer Pong announced for WiiWare… gulp
In amongst the quality we’re sure will filter onto WiiWare as the months go by, there are bound to appear a few stinkers. And while we don’t like to make premature judgements, we’re not holding out too much hope for JV Games’Frat Party Games - Beer Pong, announced today.
Based on the drinking game that was born within college dorms across America, Frat Party - Beer Pong is being developed exclusively for WiiWare and will offer traditional tournament-style game of Beer Pong for one to four players and Speed Pong, during which two to three players compete at the same time.
You’ll be able to compete in three different environments, as well as choosing a variety of tabletops to, JV Games explains, “enhance” the experience.
Unfamiliar with game of Beer Pong? Let our friend Wikipedia explain:
“Beer pong is a drinking game in which players throw a ping pong ball across a table with the intent of landing the ball in one of several cups of beer on the other end. The game typically consists of two two-player teams, one on each side of a table, and a number of cups set up on each side.
When a ball lands in a cup, the defending team must consume all of the beer inside that cup. The game is won by eliminating all the other team’s cups before one’s own cups are eliminated. The losing team must then consume all the beer remaining in the winning team’s cups
Worryingly, Beer Pong is said to be the first in a series of Frat Games titles, when it arrives this June.
