Following Telltale Games’ original announcement, in which the developer confirmed the long-rumoured news that cult point-and-click adventurers Sam & Max were heading to the Wii this autumn, reports now suggest that Season One of the pair’s most recent PC outing will arrive in North America on Nintendo’s little white box of tricks this August.

French website Wiiz reports that Sam & Max: Season One, the graphic adventure in which the unlikely detective pairing travel worldwide in to solve six different cases (that number, because six individual episodes were originally made as periodically released content for PC gamers, now all stuffed together on one disc), will arrive in North America this August. The series is well known for its brilliant script and clever puzzles, and looks to add another string to the Nintendo Wii’s point-and-clicking bow.
