2D Boy’s World of Goo (originally a full Nintendo Wii title, but recently making the leap to WiiWare) is one of the most intriguing games to be making its way to the new download service, and now there’s an extra incentive for Wii owners to invest, as its version includes an exclusive co-operative mode.

Yep, while World of Goo is also being release on the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms, GoNintendo reports that the Nintendo Wii build will exclusively include a two-player co-operative mode, allowing pairs of gamers to plunder through its Lemmings-alike levels, building bridges and towers to traverse great chasms, spikes and other perils.

Still no release date set for World of Goo at present, but we’ll keep you posted.
