Jawa: Mammoth Secret to include Mii compatibility
Japanese developer Sting’s Jawa: Mammoth Secret was first unveiled for the Nintendo Wii late last year, but has very little promotion since then. As its official website is updated for the first time in a long while, we learn that the Harvest Moon-alike adventure, set in the Stone Age, now features Mii compatibility.
In a cutesy, cartoony world, players befriend dinosaurs and hunt food in Jawa: Prehistoric secret. The newest screenshots see characters collecting eggs; shooting a bow and arrow, and boffing and priming themselves to bravely boff a crocodile on the nose. Best of all, though, is that the ability to superimpose the face of your Mii (or anyone elses, we suppose) on the face of the game’s protagnonist has been worked in.
It all looks really rather charming, so it’s a shame that Jawa’s release in Japan next month may pass quietly. A localisation would be nice.

it looks like a wiiware game… is it? the graphics are too weak to be a full wii disc game
you’d be surprised, I’ve seen wiiware games that look better than most retail wii titles(lostwinds, final fantasty: my life as a stupidly long name, gyrostarr) which is inexcusable considering that wiiware games are a max filesize of 43mb, while a duel layered wii dvd can hold 8.5gb worth of information. thus proving that retail games
couldshould be of a higher quality than what we’ve been seeing.
