Aksys Games has today announced Princess on Ice for the Nintendo DS, a hardcore dungeon-crawling RPG that makes Etrian Odyssey look easy… All right, it isn’t. It’s a music/rhythm title featuring skating simulation and it’s been announced for North America today.

Like Dancing on Ice, Princess on Ice sees players skating to a routine, and then being judged by a panel of stern judges. It’s like the real thing… except you’re tapping the touch screen in the safety of your own home, rather than having to risk slicing your digits off by doing the it yourself.
