My Little Flufties for Nintendo DS

People who say Nintendo is for kids are clearly lying. “My Little Flufties” has been announced for the Nintendo DS. Aimed at three to eight year old kids it is sure to help Nintendo’s mature image. More details within.

G-Stars and Lexicon entertainment are coming together to bring My Little Flufties to the DS; and no, the name is not a joke. The game is aimed at three to eight year old kids. Apparently it will fascinate younger games with its mix of cute characters and animations and will amuse them by ’sweet’ comics and an easy to pick up gameplay system. No violence, no carnage, just fluffy little animals and lots of bright colours.

The basic aim of the game is to look after your little virtual pet and take on a number of adventures in the lovely fantasy world. The features of the title include five species to care for along with five exciting little bonus games: Fish-o-matic, Hopscotch, Mole-o-matic, Shoot-the balloons and Find the Tweet-Tweet. There are 25 minutes of orchestral music and loads of replay value chucked in for good measure.

We’ll reserve judgement on this one until we get some more unbiased information than a press release, but it is sure to go down well with its intended audience and maybe even people who like their game small, innocent, fluffy and slightly strange.
