Twilight House transformed for new Mario Kart tourney
Nintendo of Japan has now released details of the next online Mario Kart Wii competition, and this time the firm has transformed one of the racer’s multiplayer maps into a time trial race course.
Nintendo has taken the ‘Twilight House’ Battle map and cordoned off certain areas to create a makeshift race track. In another time trial challenge, players will be tasked with achieving the speediest time around the course against eleven other racers. As always, though, it’s not whipping the CPU characters that really counts, but the thousands of fellow Mario Kart Wii players who are all submitting their best times to the online leader boards.
The tournament will be open between July 15 and July 25 in Japan, although when exactly it’ll launch elsewhere around the world isn’t known. It shouldn’t be long afterwards (perhaps even at the same time), so we’ll update you as soon as we catch wind.
Happy racing!
