The one bright spot of Nintendo’s press conference. MotionPlus has me really excited. Looks like we will finally have true 1:1 control in games. Melee fighting in games should be great. I wonder how soon we will see third party games implement it.

the picture has a brand new ‘condom’ which is bigger and brand new wrist straps too!
i hope star wars uses this. if not the force unleashed then clone wars.

nintendo really supprised me with this add-on. i always expected their to be a new wii-remote eventually but this will be much cheaper and easier.
tiger woods 2010 anyone?

I could make infantile jokes about condoms and how my wii now needs a bigger one. but I won’t.
seriously though, this could have many applications apart from motion controlled sword fights. sports games and the like.

This makes the DualShock 3/Sixaxis controller look like a toy (the motion control of the Sxiaxis is nowhere near as precise as the motion control of the Wii Remote).

This new accessory, if implemented in a clever and unique way, could make true motion control a reality. Yay for Nintendo!
