‘Hard Working People’ confirmed for US
Known as Hataraku Hito (Working People) in Japan, Hudson Soft has confirmed that the title, a mix between a party mini-game collection and a ‘life sim’ will be receiving an English localisation.
Strange as it sounds, Hard Working People (as the Japanese name translates to) sees players working to master 50 different jobs in order to save the world from a giant meteor that is on its way to smash the planet into smithereens.
The number of jobs is certainly varied. These are the occupations we’ve managed to figure out so far: Bodybuilder, TV shopping Crew, Farmer, Interviewer, EMT, Grill Cook, Personal Trainer, Haunted House Crew, Dentist, Fisher, Newscaster, Lighting Crew, Master Gamer, Action Hero, Space Satellite Technician, Fireman, and Chef.
Yes, it’s another mini-game compilation, but it definitely looks varied, imaginative, and with the potential to be a lot of fun.
Hudson wants you to help choose a name for the project’s English release too. Choose from 9 different options here.
Help Wanted/Family Jobs/Job Heroes/When I Grow Up/Working Heroes/Hatarakuhito/Hard Working People/Galactic Job Mob/TCB: Taking Care of Business will be released next year.
