Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise dated for Europe
Rare has today revealed that Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise will be making its way to the Nintendo DS in Europe on September 05 - three days earlier than it’s North American launch.
As in the original Microsoft Xbox 360 Viva Pinata title, Pocket Paradise sees players inheriting and tending to a neglected garden in which a variety of Pinata species’ will live. The DS, of course, isn’t going to be pushing the 360 in terms of graphical output and even the same number of features, but Rare has packed in new types of Pinata, video tutorials, and a new Playground mode into the game. The latter allows you to create a beautiful garden in a much shorter time than previously possible.
It may not have been to the tastes of the majority of 360 users, but we’re sure Pocket Paradise will, given the chance, bloom on the Nintendo DS.

Wait, a Microsoft-owned franchise on the Nintendo DS? Why doesn’t Microsoft just make their own handheld instead of porting dumb-downed games onto a Nintendo system.
