Our aching wrists still haven’t recovered from the original Kororinpa for the Nintendo Wii, but today Hudson has confirmed that the follow-up, tentatively titled Kororinpa 2, will arrive in Europe in the first quarter of 2009 - Balance Board support included an’ all.

Like the original, the object of the game is to manipulate a rolling ball from one end of the level to the other - over 100 levels are included this time. This time, Hudson has fluffed up the experience with a story that follows Anthony the ant on his journey to locate the mythical Golden Sunflower seed.

As well as a two-player competitive mode, Kororinpa 2 includes a level editor and 10 special stages that include support for the Wii Balance Board.
