The Jagged Alliance series has been plying its trade on the PC for nearly 15 years, but now Empire Interactive has announced that the popular turn-based tactical combat series will be making its way to the Nintendo DS in 2009.

In what appears to be a port of the 1994 original, Jagged Alliance sees players recruiting mercenaries as they explore, capture, and hold new territory on the island of Metavira.
