Nintendo’s Disaster: Day of Crisis is amongst a select number of Wii games which, throughout its time in development, has something of an ambiguous existence – appearing and dropping from the radar on numerous occasions. There may be some good news at least, however. If rumour is to be believed, then the action game in which Mother Nature takes centre stage is destined for Europe on October 24.

Day of Crisis sees players taking control of a former member of an elite rescue task force by the name of Ray, as he faces up against a number of natural disasters. That’s not all, however, as the patriotic hard nut also has to deal with the threat of rogue commandos who are in the possession of an atomic weapon.
