Mega Man 9 set for Euro release in autumn
Living in Europe can sometimes be a nightmare when it comes to the release dates of videogames, with developers and publishers often leaving us poor saps in the dark in favour of our Japanese and American cousins, sometimes inexplicably. It’s getting better slowly though, as further exemplified in a good piece of news today. Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man 9 will arrive in Europe at around the same autumn period as in the US.
In a hark back to the original Mega Man games, Capcom has ditched 21st Century technology to create a Mega Man adventure full of gorgeous pixels and chirpy, retro bleeps. There’s a new storyline too, which sees our robotic protagonist battling his way through a host of new levels in order to foil the plans of the evil Dr. Wily and clear the name of his creator, Dr Light.
