Musiic Party: Rock the House coming to Wii
With the likes of Guitar Hero and Rock Band already showing just how well rhythm titles can do on Nintendo’s innovative system, and with Konami and THQ also having worked on similar efforts, it is no wonder another game in the genre has popped up, this time in the form of ‘Musiic Party’.
dtp’s Musiic Party: Rock the House is a party game that is apparently made to appeal to the whole family. It has a unique comic look that is combined with a hefty dose of humour and will guarantee long-lasting fun, according to the publisher. In contrast to other music games, no additional peripheral devices are needed, which should definitely keep the costs of the game down at least, automatically making it slightly more accessible to the casual market as the entire game is merely controlled by using Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Thus players can quickly and easily ‘rock the night away’…
With a focus on rock tracks, the game offers a wide selection of music, offering tunes that will appeal to everyone’s taste. Whether bass, guitar, or percussion – controls are always simple, comprehensible, and easy to learn. Musiic Party: Rock the House relies on the innovative control options of Nintendo’s Wii, so that almost all actions are performed by moving Wii Remote or Nunchuk. Gamers will be able to play the game with up to three players simultaneously and experience a real stage feeling. In addition to this, numerous mini-games are supposedly set to guarantee fun for spontaneous jam sessions.
Some of the game’s key features include:
- Many tracks are covered ;
- Simply pick up and play ;
- No special peripherals are required.
Musiic Party: Rock the House, developed by Independent Software and published by dtp, is currently scheduled for a release sometime during the first Quarter of 2009.
