If present liscensing means so much for the re-release of old games then why was Tecmo still allowed to use the NFL team names on Tecmo Bowl on the Tecmo classic compilation for the Xbox. EA owns those rights now but I am sure they do not see any green out of it. I am 99% sure it doesn't apply to old games with older copyrights.

EA does NOT run the bond franchise anymore MGM took it away from them a while back and now Activision has it. Not a big change in the story but just a factual one.
