With the release of the first ever Simpsons movie only just around the corner, we bring you the good news that later this year you will be able to play as the cartoon family in a new Simpsons game. Live Gamer noticed that this game is listed on the EBGames website and is due for release near the end of this year.

On the EBGames website, it is stated that Simpsons: The game is due for release on the first day of November for the price of $50 and EBGames state that EA Games will be developing and publishing the game. It’s also clear that the game will be based around the upcoming movie. The game will also be available on the Nintendo DS.

I personally think that EA could make this an excellent and enjoyable game by using the Wiimote to it’s full potential and I look forward to it’s release and the movie later this year.
