First WiiWare game announced
Developer Bplus (no, we’ve never heard of them either) have announced the first ever game for the WiiWare system on the Nintendo Wii console. We’ve put on our sceptical hats for this one as this one does whiff a bit, so come on inside for the details.
Nintendo website Wii-UK recieved details of the first ever WiiWare title thanks to a press release from developer Bplus. Based in Vienna, the company are claiming that this if the first title to be announced for WiiWare. Which, if it exists, is certainly true. So, what’s it all about? Well, the game is called PLATTCHEN - twist ’n’ paint and claims to be an ‘innovative puzzle shooter game’…whatever that is. The logo looks a little like this:

Apparently it will seek to attract both hardcore and new gamers and make excellent use of the Wii’s innovative control system. You can check out the very badly written press release by visiting the Bplus website here. No more details are available as of yet, but we’ll keep our collective eyes open and bring you any updates as and when.
