New Wii Remote wrist strap design uncovered
In a third design for the Nintendo Wii Remote’ strap, images have appeared on the Interweb showing a wrist strap with a locking clasp in order to keep the controller snugly in place once and for all.
Although Nintendo’s last alteration to the design of the Wii Remote solved the issue of the controller chord snapping at the base of the thing, the latest change looks to conquer the problem of it being flung from the sweaty hands (and wrists) of thousands of gamers once and for all.
It isn’t yet clear whether Nintendo will provide a free recall service for those consumers who want in on the new innovation in Wii Remote wrist strap design (as it did with the last change), but we’re sure much of the issue would be resolved if people were a little less aggressive in their play.
The Wii Remote is a sensitive little device after all.
