Earlier on this week Kando Games revealed that it was developing Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk for the Nintendo Wii; now the first concrete details of the futuristic fighter-pilot-em-up have been divulged.

The title is set in the distant future at a time when the whole of the solar system has been occupied by human beings. In what sounds like a little too utopian, the world’s countries have come together to create the World Nations Union, a government for all. However, the organisation has become more and more tyrannical throughout the years, forcing a small group of rebels to fight for independence. This shocking event acts as the catalyst for the most devastating conflict that the human race has ever encountered (we thought that was Brett Hart vs Yokozuna vs Hulk Hogan in Wrestlemania IX, but there we are).

After months of fighting the independent battlers are in poor shape, but ready for one last gasp battle for freedom.
