Game of Life Wii screens appear - inc. Miis!
Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has uncovered a set of screenshots for the upcoming Wii title based on the board game, Game of Life. While its certainly not at the top of most people’s wish list, we really do like the inclusion of Miis as your onscreen character.
The stills below show off the first of the game’s maps, themed around pre-school. From Google’s literal (bad) translation of Famitsu’s website, we gather that the setting of the board will change as you advance through your character’s lifetime. As with the real-life board game, the eventual winner is the player who earns the most money.
Spinning the roulette wheel is interspersed with a variety of mini-games. Those pictured include shooting UFOs, matching up pairs of cards and a Pop-up Pirate-alike distraction. All very much akin to the likes of Mario Party and Wii Play, it seems.
Like we said, we’re hardly going to be banging the doors down of our nearest games retailer to get hold of the Game of Life, but that it makes full use of the Miis (which continue to grow on us even more as time passes), we thought it’d be nice to show it off.
